Say you want to quickly step through some sounds to see which fits best. Say those sounds are on different CDs. Oh yes, your sampler will load the CDs and yes, it will display their contents - but the way it does this is far from being comfortable.

At first, hardware samplers are really sloooow on loading CDs / switching banks. Second, they cannot display too much useful information on their own, really small display. SampliBrowse lets you pre-listen and browse AKAI™ S-1000 / S-3000 CDs in a most comfortable way. It looks and behaves pretty much like the well known Windows Explorer - only it can read your AKAI CDs.
